the problem
Site visits are where architects catch problems early, but writing them up is a chore. Notes get scribbled between conversations, photos pile up in a camera roll, and the real report gets written hours later from memory, in a template that has to be reformatted by hand every time.
what i built
A mobile-first web app designed to be used with one hand while walking a job site:
- capture anything, fast: photos, shorthand notes and voice memos, attached to the observation they belong to.
- voice first: speak observations instead of typing them, transcribed live.
- AI compiles the report: an LLM organizes the raw notes into structured observations, summaries and action items.
- on the firm's templates: output is a formatted document that matches the firm's existing report standards, ready to review and send.
the goal
A field report that's essentially done by the time you leave the site, in the firm's consistent format, with nothing lost between the job site and the desk.
